This month I started taking part in a great challenge that my friend Sally Guest is doing in one of her Facebook groups.
It’s called 100 Conversations in 100 Days and it’s basically a challenge to grow your business.
Since I teach people to network by talking to 2 people each day about your business, I thought it was a great idea for me to do it for 100 days myself. And it’s only one person per day, so it’s ridiculously manageable.
We are already almost at Day 10, and it’s so easy.
I challenge you to start too – try it. Think about one person every day that you can speak with about your business.
Maybe it’s someone who could potentially become a client.
Maybe it’s someone who could send you referrals.
Maybe it’s someone you could do a presentation for to build your reputation and expertise.
Maybe it’s someone who can help you formulate a social media strategy.
Maybe it’s your accountability partner or your coach.
Maybe it’s a client you can get some new work from.
Maybe it’s someone who can help you with house cleaning or gardening or child care.
There are all kinds of people you can connect with to build your business.
When I talk about networking, people often think you are only having sales conversations with potential clients. It can be tiring to think of the stress involved with that.
But when you think of it in the framework above, it’s actually quite fun. And much less stressful.
So how about it?
Are you up to have 100 conversations in 100 days?
You have so much to gain.
I highly recommend it!
